This attractive oval tray with scalloped edges is nicely engraved with a harbor or seaside scene, with black applied to make the scene stand out. The same black covers most of the back. The tray is 12" x 8-1/2". I date it c. 1890-1910.
The tray is not perfect. There are scratches and a few dings, but the overall effect is charming. The are no marks as to maker or country of origin.
