Victorian Turquoise & Rose Cut Diamond Pendant

Turquoise was a stone frequently featured in Victorian jewelry but became even more popular after Queen Victoria became Empress of India in 1876. Some of the prettiest pieces of Victorian jewelry we have seen are those highlighted with turquoise stones cut as cabochon.

This pendant with 5 turquoise cabochons highlighted by tiny rose cut diamonds is a romantic presentation. The turquoise is set in gold, and the diamonds are set in silver.

The pendant measures 1-¾ inches in length – including the diamond-studded bale and diamond studded drop. It is 5/8th inch at its widest. The 16-inch chain is marked 14K and is a later addition that works perfectly with the pendant.

Lovely, delicate and romantic best describes this charming jewel.
