This is a very fun brooch. Signed by Flying Colors. Another dealer on Rubylane had this information:
The original company called Parrot Pearls was founded in 1975 in San Francisco. Flying Colors was founded by former employees of Parrot Pearls in the 1980's. Parrot Pearls morphed into Ruby Z in the mid 80'S when the remaining two partners, Candace Loheed and Bean Finneran, changed the name to Ruby Z. The signature style of all three companies is easily recognizable, hand made ceramic jewelry, mostly pins and necklaces, in fanciful shapes such as animals, flowers, food and objects with colorful beads. All three companies enjoy increasing prices due to their unique style.
This brooch is a black and white polka dot towel pin with a bikini covered woman sun bathing on it. She has a "Travel" post card and the brooch is in great condition. It measures 1-3/4" x 1"
