This 14K gold ring features a 22K gold Mexican coin with the portrait of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla and the script "Dos y Medio Pesos 1945." On the other side, which is clearly visible, there is an the Mexican coat of arms which depicts a Mexican Golden Eagle perched on a prickly pear cactus devouring a snake, and the inscription "Estados Unidos Mexicanos." Research shows that the coin itself is 22K and weighs 1.667 grams. The ring is not marked, but is tested at 14K gold. The entire ring weighs 10.5 gram and is a size 5 3/4", so this could fit a man (pinky?) or a woman. This ring comes from an old friend, who had the coin custom mounted in the 1960's. Please note: the photos show scratching, but to the naked eye, the scratches really are barely noticeable. We will ship this ring registered first class.
