This is a rare find. It is a first edition bi-lingual book in Japanese and English. Titled "Bartender's Guide to the Best Mixed Drinks" by Kappa, Kasuga Boeki K.K., Tokyo, Japanl copyright 1952. It is hardcover reddish orange in color with black titles. The book contains photos of bar glassware, bar utensils and page after page of drink recipes in English and Japanese. Published after WWII it was a helpful guide to help serve the many English speaking people who came to help rebuild Japan. The drink recipes are in alphabetical order. The book is in very good condition and it is rare to find a first published in 1952, most copies are 1953. A previous owner signed their name on the first endpaper (priced accordingly).
