vintage Taxco Sterling Silver Cat Brooch ** Letter "D"
This is a lovely detailed cat brooch of sterling silver made in Mexico. It measures 1 1/2" x 1" and is marked on the back "925 Mexico TM-B5 & is in perfect condition. The cat can also be viewed as the letter "D" of the alphabet. It is 9 grams silver weight. The pin has a modernist feel to it with the cat's long tail half encircling it. An entire alphabet of these cat figurines were created in the 1970's.
