Italian Hand Painted Mug Circa 1960's

This is a huge blue mug with a bright red, yellow, blue and white abstract face motif on front. Big black dots against a white background decorate the handle. It is done in the style of Picasso or DeSimone (who studied together). It is 3 3/4" diameter and stands 4 1/4" tall. The mug dates to the 1960's. It is in good vintage condition. I believe someone previously used it to store pencils and pens as there are markings on the inside bottom of the cup as well as some crazing (priced accordingly). There are two tiny popped bubbles from firing on the rim. The bottom of the mug states "Hand Painted Made in Italy". Would make an unusual but fun flower vase. (There is a good chance it has lead in the paint and should therefore not contain food or beverage)
