Book is in excellent, tight condition, no dust jacket. The end-papers are an extensive guide to planting bulbs (front papers) and annuals (back papers). The book has wonderfully detailed graphs for borders, illustrations, charts, lists, etc. with some pages containing a glassine over-lay to plan your garden. There is also a glossary of botanical names. There are plenty of illustrations which are retro now but so fun to see. There is even a section on beach and hillside gardens. Book is out-of-print.
