Leo Carrillo "The Bad Man" Souvenir Program

This old playbill is called a Souvenir Program. While it was for the play The Bad Man (by Porter Emerson Browne), it highlights the life and career of Leo Carillo who is famous for his role of Pancho Lopez among other roles he played in major motion pictures. Pancho Lopez is based on the real life of Pancho Villa. This play was produced in a theater in Los Angeles, but if you can believe it; it does not state the theatre name. There is no date on this piece but I would place it in 1940's. The world premiere of this play was at the Comedy Theater, August 30, 1920 by William Harris, Jr. This program also includes extensive information on Henry Duff (presenter of the play) & Richard Jackson, set designer. The program measures 9" x 12" & is in excellent condition.
