Kaoru Kawano Color Woodblock Print Crane Circa 1950's

This wonderful color woodcut print of a Tancho (Crane) on wood, mounted and framed dates between 1950-1960. It is in pretty good condition, some slight scratches on the wood panel (see photos; priced accordingly). The oban sized print measures 9" x 15". The outside black wood frame measures 14 1/2" x 24". The woodcut is mounted on a tan colored burlap fabric on wood. The personalized Kawano red seal is on the right bottom of the woodblock art piece. Kaoru Kawano 1916-1965 (a short bio is taped to the back of the woodblock). He was a member of the Japan Print Society and his art work is in museums & many private collections. It is ready for hanging. The speckling on the bird is so life-like in person; just gorgeous.
