These are 12 vintage dishes in Homer Laughlin's Salerno pattern. There are 3 bread plates also, separate photos(they were bought since this listing). All in excellent condition. Terrific for your next Fiesta or to add sunshine to your table everyday. Price is for 12 unusual pieces. These are very hard to find restaurant ware plates and bowls in Homer Laughlin's "Salerno" pattern. They were salesman samples for sale. I know of two restaurants that use this pattern: "The Whole Enchilada" & "Phil's Fish Market", both located in Moss Landing, California just north of Monterey along the Pacific coast. The dinnerware is one each of the following: A bowl that measures 4 3/4" diameter, stands 1 1/4" Round plate is 6 1/4" diameter. Bowl that measures 9" diameter, stands 1 3/4" Oval platter measures 11 1/2" x 8". Oval platter measures 13" x 9". Round platter 12" diameter. Round plate 8 1/4" diameter. Round plate 9" diameter. Round plate 9 1/2" diameter. 3 Round plates 6 1/4". All pieces are heavy vitrified china known as restaurant ware and are very substantial, in perfect condition without any utensil marks. The Salerno pattern reminds me of a sunflower. However, the colors are bright sunny yellow on white china with blue triangles and a bright coral orange band in the center. They are very tropical looking and they would match Homer Laughlin's Fiesta Ware very well. Each piece is marked on the bottom "Homer Laughlin China Lead Free". These would be perfect as serving pieces, particularly well suited for a party, barbecue, fiesta, or any other event you would like to add pizazz & bold graphics.
