This spiral bound hard cover book is in excellent condition except for one black mark on inside front cover (see photos). It is very clean, no bent pages, no writing. It still has the original $1.00 tag on the front of the book since 1954! This cookbook has the best of Betty Crocker's recipes during the fifties. Lots of great ideas in addition to recipes like "Cream Puffs", "Bake Ham dinner for 6", "Quick Pickled Beets", "Quick Frozen Preserves", "Rum Cakes", "Angel Food Cake", Barbecued Ribs", "Swedish Split Pea Soup", "Pepper Steak", "New England Boiled Dinner" and much more. This book is difficult to find in this excellent condition. ***** NOTE: I have another unread edition (1st, 4th printing) but the outside wrap on the spine is brittle. I would sell this copy for $25.
