This vintage bag is in unused condition & from the mid - 1940's...very difficult to find another. However, the previous owner must have stored it next to another handbag with a clasp or something that rubbed up against this purse and left a sort of "U" mark with some slight leather marks on the front. The back of the bag and the inside are pristine. I have priced it according to the condition. It is tan in color and measures 10" x 7 1/4". The hardware is gold tone and there is a leather tie (bow) n the front of the bag which gives it a sweet distinction. The handle is a 7" drop to the purse. The inside is lined in brown sateen and the inside label states "Bagcraft of London, By Appointment To H.M. The Queen, Mfg. of Handbags, England". The hardware inside the bag is engraved as follows "Made in Belgium". It's an extraordinary bag.
