14 1/2" Di Pietra Italian Art Pottery Platter VINO & FRIENDS!

Extra Large, handpainted art pottery plate, 14 1/2" SIGNED DI PIETRA This is a large vintage platter hand made and hand painted in bold blue, yellow, green, red & more. The scene is of two gentlemen enjoying their wine and good conversation. It is signed "DiPietra". It is in excellent mint condition. The plate was made exclusively for sale at Macy's; the original tag is still on the back. The back side of the plate has an imprint that states "Hand Painted and Made in Italy exclusively for MPD @ 1985, 11 Penn Plaza, New York, N.Y.". There is a hanger for immediate display even though I think it should be used to serve food. Imagine the look of delight by when using this wonderful and bright platter. The colors are rich and as vibrant as the subject. Makes me want to go and get a glass of vino right now! Note: Similar plates by DeSimone sell for $400 and more.
