1910 Winsch Embossed Gilded Textured Postcard, Stylish Lady with Parasol

This wonderful "To my Valentine" card features a beautiful, turn-of-the-century lady in flowing gown and ruffled parasol. The lightly textured gold background shows subtle, shadowy images of tree leaves and grass. The black and white illustration has lovely pink tints on gown and hat with shiny gold hearts to embellish hat and as a small purse dangling from the lady's wrist.

The card is stamped, canceled and postmarked twice in 1910 - Feb. 15 (Ramsey, Ill) and Feb. 16 (Bingham, Ill). The card was printed in Germany and has a John Winsch back - probably a Schmucker card. There is an inked address. The card is in very good condition with minimal edge and minor corner wear and rounding.

A beautiful addition for your collection or displayed in a frame in your home or given as a gift. Please come by again when you're traveling down Ruby Lane!
