1910 Embossed Gilded Postcard, Robin Trio Welcomes Rosy Dawn with Song
This lovely "Remembrance true" card has gorgeous colors -reddish-violet fields of flowers (heather?) and background trees under the rosy glow of early dawn. I love the details on the gilded, thatched cottages!
I'm always happy to consider reasonable offers and layaway plans!
Stamped, canceled and postmarked Jan.29, 1910 in Jefferson Wis. The card was made in Germany for the Diamond Post Card Co. (Philadelphia). The long penciled message includes an address to Mrs. Frank Ladwig in Sumner, Iowa. In very good condition with minimal edge and minor corner wear, but there is a little bit of postal ink visible on upper lefthand corner.
