Extremely complex molding makes this a gorgeous bowl to display in a prominent place in your home. The ribbed tongue molding on the deep, interior walls and the ornate scrolls and plumes along the scalloped rim gives a wonderful sense of flow and movement. The cotton-candy pink and lavender-grey flowers on the delicate, wispy branches of the transfer design are hand-painted and given add white enamel detailing to the floral centers. Patches of brushed gold add to the elegant beauty of this dish. Really lovely! The backstamp is not familiar to be - a red oval with 'Bavarian China' and 'Germany' around the oval and a fancy, cursive monogram which looks like 'FLC' in the center.
Measures 12" x 7 1/2" and is 2 1/2" deep - the outwardly sloping rim gives the impression of even greater depth. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and only a few, very tiny pin dot firing 'pops' inside. Thanks very much for taking time to look around my shop!
