Late-1800s, Antique Adams Titian Ware Perugia Cup & Saucer, Molded Fruit, Green & Gold Bands

The cup measures 4 1/2" from handle to rim and is 2" tall; the saucer is 5 3/4". In very good condition with no chips, nicks, cracks or hairlines. There is overall, subtle and gentle crazing and a few, stray utensil & scuff marks. Wear to the gilding on the rims & handle and to the decorated gold bands is minor (ca. 5-10%). There is pale staining on back rim of one saucer. The set has an Adams mark identifying it as Adams Royal Ivory Estbd, 1657, England. The saucer also includes the pattern name of Perugia in the Titian Ware line and notes that the set is hand painted; the cup is also marked with Patented #70566, indicating that the pattern was registered in 1887.
