Hand Painted Nippon Pierced Handle Cake Plate, Mocha Roses in Summer Sunlight, Mark #47

This lovely cake/dessert plate with its warm, summer colors measures 9 3/4" across the gilded, pierced handles and is 9 3/8" in diameter. In excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks or hairlines. It carries a green, Van Patten's Mark #47 ('M' in wreath), dating to after 1911 and into early 1920s.
