Eye-Catching Flambeau Limoges Hand Painted 11" Charger, Sun-Kissed Peaches, Artist Levy, 1890s-1914
Luscious (and clearly, juicy!) peaches ripen on the branch, just waiting to picked for preserves or cobbler! The expressive, bold brush strokes and the rich yellow highlights from a warming sun are beautiful against the many-toned, green background. The larger, scalloped form and the very appealing design makes this 11" charger an wonderful item to brighten your display cabinet or kitchen shelf.

The plate is in very good condition with no chips, nicks, cracks or hairlines. The wear to the painted surface is minimal and gold wear to the rim is minor - ca. 15%. The plate carries two Flambeau China marks - Mark 1 (green, underglaze white ware mark, 1890s-1914) and Mark 3 (green, overglaze decorating mark, 1890s-early 1900s). It is signed by the Limoges factory artist, Levy.
