Please see all the closeup photos to appreciate the gorgeous colors used for this lovely half-spherical bowl. The poppy-like florals are done in a carefree, impressionistic style - with bold brush strokes and swaths of clear, bright colors. The flowers are in shades of soft, petal pink, cotton candy pink, pinkish lilac with centers of grass-green, teal-green and yellow stamen. The leaves are mint, grass, teal and moss with lavender shadow leaves. So pretty!
This bowl 8 3/4" across handles and is 3" deep. The form is that of a sphere, cut in half so has a deep, wide basin. In excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks and hairlines. There are three pin-prick sized firing pops - does not detract at all from the appearance. The bowl carries Van Patten's green mark 47, "M" in wreath.
