Early 1900s Embossed Gilded E.A.S. Gel Postcard, Woman Approaches Snow-covered Steeple Church, 4-Leaf Clovers

An elderly woman (with cane) walks up a snow-covered, village road to a stone church with steeple tower and lovely arched windows - all aglow. The night sky shows the beginning of dawn's light. The delicate, gilded shamrocks at the corners and the violet-shaded panel of shamrocks are beautiful against the emerald green background.

The unused card carries a trademark on the front for E. A. Schwerdtfeger & Co. (London). In very good condition with minimal edge and minor corner wear, except for a very shallow crease on lower lefthand corner. The gelatin surface is in excellent shape with no cracks or peeling. I have four cards in this series listed - if you would like two or more please email me with an offer.

An appealing addition for your collection or displayed in a frame in your home or given as a gift. Please come by again when you're browsing on Ruby Lane!
