Fine Victorian Silver Desk Stand

This pre-Victorian Sheffield inkwell by John Harrison stand dates back to 1845-46. The form is rectangular with a Greek key border while the platform above is surrounded by a beaded edge. Each corner bears applied acanthus leaves, which support the two inkwells. Light candles on the sides as you prepare to write your next masterpiece or simply admire as a decorative showpiece.
