Victorian Gold-Filled Mesh, Shell-Cameo, Tassel Bracelet

From circa 1900, a magnificent slide bracelet. This is a stunning lavishly hand carved cameo framed in genuine seed pearls. The cameo is bezel set in an attractive design. Stamped on back of the cameo frame is "1/20 10K GF PSCO". A loop at the back of the frame allows a gold-filled mesh band to thread through the frame. The end of the mesh band is intricately designed with exquisite etching. An enchanting chain tassel flows from behind the end of the mesh band. A slide bar that secures the bracelet when worn, is superbly etched with a highly crafted motif.

The meshed band measures 1/2" in width. The shell cameo and seed pearl frame measure about 1" in height and 7/8" in width. The tassel flows downward about 1 1/4". A lavish cameo slide bracelet of sophisticated, and highend workmanship.
