These vintage dangling clip back earrings are made of silver tone metal , and have faceted sky-blue glass beads with an aurora borealis finish. Blue on blue indeed. The cheerful blueness of these vintage clipback earrings will certainly drive away that other kind of blues Along with this we find prong set crystal rhinestones. The earrings have two sections to them. The upper section, which attaches to the ear, is made of a prong set faceted blue glass bead from which a silver tone linked chain descends. Attached to this chain is a hook which holds the dangling part of the earring, the second section. We here find a cluster of prong set crystal clear rhinestones , five in total sitting upon another sky-blue faceted glass bead. The blue glass beads in both sections have an aurora borealis finish to them, reflecting a part of the light spectrum. The combination of the AB finish, the crystal rhinestones and the silver tone metal leads to a set of earrings that sparkle, glisten and shine. These earrings which measure 1/2” by 1 3/4” are of the classical style that never become dated. They are as contemporary today as fifty years ago and will be still in vogue fifty years from now. They are also appropriate for formal as well as casual wear, and will do anything but bring you the blues.
