1930's Elegant and Unusual Link Bracelet
This bracelet is made of twelve links, each of which is a small faceted oval glass amethyst art stone. The art glass is bezel set in a silver tone metal. A very subtle, almost unnoticeable, ornate filigree surrounds each link. Two silver tone metal rings attach one link to the next. The back of this bracelet is fascinating. In fact, if someone invented a reversible bracelet, this one might serve as a prototype. Each link is a series of lines that can be best described as resembling the paper upon which musical notes are written. The clasp is also most unusual. Two thin chains connect to the last link on each side. Two elongated oval faceted amethyst art glass stones are attached to one chain on either side with a filigree cap at the top of the art glass stone. The chains fully expand to allow one to put the bracelet on. The two oval elongated art glass stones pull together closing the bracelet, The art glass stones hang freely from the bracelet and therefore the wrist, creating a very elegant tail.
The bracelet is 8 when opened completely. The bracelet, if completely closed, measures 6. Therefore, the bracelet can fit a wrist between 6 and 8. I have difficulty getting my hand through many bangle bracelets with a 2 ½ opening. I am able to get my wrist through this opening, although I need to do it very carefully. This has to be a one of a kind, even if it isnt, a stunning bracelet it is without a question!
