During my annual trip to my old stompin' grounds, Reno, Nevada, several years ago, I discovered the creations of a marvelous artisan there named Lena Black. Using vintage and newer components--and found objects in general--this skilled craftswoman has produced truly unforgettable pieces.
This one is hands-down my very favorite. Measuring in at a mind-boggling 4 1/4" long x just over 2 1/2" at its widest point, among other embellishments it includes a plastic cameo, coral-colored dangling glass grapes, clear rhinestones (all in place and undimmed), goldtone leaves, and a flower sporting a prong-set goldstone cabochon at its center. Makes a statement--and then some!
