This is a particularly pretty example of the sorts of large floral brooches that proliferated c. the 1940s. Silvertone, goldtone, & coppertone metals comprise this accessory. Two quite large and still gleaming prong-set rhinestones--one a pale purple, the other a pale golden yellow--sit in the center of their respective blooms. Measurements are approx. 3 3/4" long x 2 1/16" at widest point. We've had this pin polished up by a professional jeweler. Upon close inspection, there's a little bit of wear to the metal of the silvertone flower, but nothing overly noticeable. Additionally, there is a some tarnishing at the back of the brooch, which is a moot point when worn, of course. Everything's in excellent vintage condition otherwise.
