This glorious pendant measures just over 2 1/2" long--bail not included--x 1 1/2" at its widest point. There is a triangular amethyst at the top and a lush opal at the bottom. The lady's face is carved from fossilized ivory from St. Lawrence Island, Alaska. It is set in sterling silver marked "925" at the back. We have suspended this pendant from a silver-plated neckwire measuring 16" around.
This is a magnificent piece we are offering at a special as-is price as there is a very small imperfection in the form of a wee jagged line just being the lady's eye. Please see photos.
~~Please be advised such ivory is legally obtained. It is excavated by Eskimo families on native-owned land on St. Lawrence Island in Alaska.~~
