Alvin Luxor Carving Knife 13" & Knife Sharpener 1924
Vintage deco Luxor pattern made by Alvin in 1924. This set has a Large Roast Carving Knife with stainless blade 13 & 1/2" and Steel Rod Sharpener 13 & 1/4". No monograms.
Condition is very good vintage, no dents but has normal use marks and could use a good polishing. A nice addition to your table or Alvin Silver collection.
Alvin Sterling was in business from 1886 in Irvington, New Jersey; later basing in Providence, Rhode Island as the Alvin Silver Company, 1919. Alvin Silver was purchased by the Gorham Company in 1928 and became the Alvin Corporation, which is still a division of Gorham. Thank you Jan.
