19th century, Italian white-glazed earthenware confit pot: A large rustic and heavy pot with a slightly tapering and irregular form and a yellow-glazed rim. The rim is rough and textured and the interior is crazed.
Condition: Very good antique condition with acceptable wear to the rim and interior. The color is more "off-white" (oatmeal) than "pure-white" due to a combination of both age-related and kiln-related discoloration. No restoration.
Size: Height is 9 1/2". Top diameter is 9½". Base diameter is 7 ½".
