Early 19th English hand-painted toleware tin: A delightful, petite-sized, tin that features a small garden songbird and floral decoration on the front. It has a pleasing canoe-shaped form (pointed at each end), a hinged lid and small loop handle, and is small enough to slip into a pocket or purse - perhaps intended for snuff, or an individual serving of tea.
Condition: Good antique condition with appropriate wear, as shown. No restoration.
