Antique Victorian English Carved Sandstone Architectural Fragment

English, mid-19th century salvaged Victorian architectural element: Hand-carved 2-piece sandstone plinth finial, gothic in style and attached by a central metal rod.

Condition: Weathered surface. Structurally sound; the two pieces do not come apart. Not cleaned: Typical darkening of the stone through exposure to the elements over time. No restoration.

Size: Height: 9"; Maximum width: 6 ½". Octagonal base with: 4". PLEASE NOTE: Item is heavy.
