Salvaged 19th century English oak and iron door lock manufactured by F.W. Reynolds & Co. of London, c.1880. It is a beautiful piece with sculptural qualities that transcends its original function, and can add interest to an interior. It can be displayed unaided by support, elevated on a stand, or adapted for mounting on a wall.
Condition: Solid, heavy lock in excellent antique condition. The lock has a manufacturer's brass plaque on the front and comes with a key. The ironwork is worn in a way that is entirely commensurate with the nature of the material, the age and function of the piece.
