Vintage English George VI Ironstone White-Banded Milk Jug - LARGE
English, "George VI" ceramic milk jug manufactured by Booths, and of barrel-form with a crisp, incised banding pattern, c.1940s. This is a large and handsome, commercial-sized jug with a 2 ½ gallon capacity. It features transfer-printed teal colored Royal Insignia on the front and a Booths printed mark (1912+) underneath. Condition is clean and excellent; just one small chip on the spout, as shown. There is no other damage or restoration. Measures 9 3/4" in height and 11 1/2" in width (handle to spout tip). Circumference is 28 1/2".
