Vintage Tressemann and Vogt Limoges France Bouquet Floral Design Porcelain Basket Dish - Artist Signed M. French - T&V Mark

Basket handle is hand-painted gold. Hand-painted violet and yellow bouquet floral design is covered by over-glaze. Interior has pearlized (rainbow) cast to it.

Unusual six-sided basket design measures 5-3/4 " in diameter at the widest spot x 4-1/4" high to the top of the handle. Not sure if this is for candy; condiments; or a small floral arrangement. It appears to us to be Victorian in design, but we a bit out of our league on Limoges - we just saw it and liked it.

Could be 19th or early 20th century. Very clean piece - no chips or cracks.
