Circa 1870s Imperial Club Ice Skates Victorian advertising vintage trade card with a wonderful image of Victorian family in winter garb ice skating on a New England pond. Lovely pastel colored lithography by Sufford of Boston and New York. The back has advertising copy for Farnham's in Richmond, Maine.

A trade card for ice skates is rare and the company small. I have seen only one other card like it - and it was not for sale. (Example #32 in a historical article of exceptional winter sport trade cards on a site dedicated exclusively to collectors of trade cards).
A wonderful hard-to-find card in great condition. Single scuff on the back is the only significant flaw.
