G. Bernheimer Bros. & Co. 14th Anniversary Advertising Spoon 1901 Silver Plate

This is a wonderful piece of Midwestern advertising. This silver spoon advertises the 14th Anniversary of G. Bernheimer Brothers & Co. in 1901. This was a dry goods company located in Kansas City, Mo. The spoon has an ornate bowl and handle decorated with scrolling. The bowl has the imprinting of G. Bernheimer Bros. & Co. 1901 14th Anniversary. The spoon was produced by Niagara Falls Silver Co. The back of the handle is imprinted with N.F. Silver Co. 1877. A very nice addition to a collection of spoons, but also a great addition to a collection of Kansas City history.

There is a very nice collection of memorabilia of G. Bernheimer Brothers in the Missouri Valley Special Collections in the Kansas City Public Library including a variety of trade and advertising cards.
