Alfred Meakin Mentone Flow Blue Shallow Soup Dish
This lovely flow blue soup dish is shallow with a wide rim. The dish is 9 inches in diameter. The pattern is Mentone in flow blue with lovely flowers and scrolling around the brim of the bowl. There are no chips or cracks in the porcelain. There is extremely minimal crazing. The back is clearly marked with the c.1891 Meakin mark under the glaze. This is a lovely piece to display or to use. This bowl is a lovely Staffordshire piece. Mentone in flow blue is hard to find. Perhaps you are looking to complete an antique table setting in this pattern.
