Vintage BAKELITE Vanity Manicure Set Inlaid Two-Toned Bakelite

Circa 1930's-40's, this Bakelite manicure set contains three nail grooming tools. Each two toned inlaid Bakelite handle measures 2 ½ inches long. The total length of the nail grooming implements range in size from 4 inches long to 4 ¼ inches long. The design of the Vintage Bakelite handles are classically Art Deco in look and design. The color of the Bakelite handles are a butterscotch Bakelite with swirls of darker tones throughout. Additionally, toward the bottom of the handles, there is a ½ inch wide inlaid jet black Bakelite stripe, creating a sensational contrast. The widest portion of the Bakelite handle of this vintage grooming set is ½ inch at the bottom and ¼ inch wide at the top.

The grooming portion of each Bakelite manicuring tool is bright and shiny. The patina on the Bakelite handles are also bright and shiny and they test positive for Bakelite. It actually appears as if this vintage dressing table accessory has never been used, and is in mint condition.
