UNUSUAL Vintage BAKELITE and Wood Brooch Bar Pin Style Jet Black Bakelite

Circa 1930’s-40’s, this extremely long vintage bar pin is comprised of jet black Bakelite on one half and wood on the other; quite a wonderful combination! The length of this vintage Bakelite and wood brooch is 4 inches long! It is just a tad under 1 inch wide. The extremely domed surface and sleek differentiation between the Bakelite and wood creates a wonderful Art Deco flare to it. The black Bakelite combined with the grain of the wood, creates a fabulous sharp contrast. BE SURE TO SEE ALL PHOTOS.

The almost 3 inch long pin back is embedded into the back of the brooch and works perfectly.

This unique vintage Bakelite and wood brooch will look wonderful worn in any direction, such as horizontally, vertically or even at an angle. It will look equally elegant pinned on a scarf or worn on a hat perhaps. The patina is wonderful on the Bakelite portion of the brooch and it tests positive. The grain of the wood is also perfect and the two are laminated together perfectly. The entire vintage brooch is in perfect condition.
