Vintage BAKELITE Kitchenware Carving Set Signed HULL Carved Three Pieces

Circa 1930’s-40’s, this Bakelite carving set is comprised of three pieces, including a large serving fork, large knife and knife sharpener. The knife measures 13 ½ inches in length, the serving fork measures 11 inches in length and the knife sharpener measures 12 ½ inches in length. The color of the Bakelite handles is a deep and rich butterscotch Bakelite with deep Art Deco inspired vertical carvings along the sides of each handle. The Bakelite handles on each vintage utensil are quite wide, measuring 1 inch in width and quite thick, having a depth of ¾ of an inch. The collars are tight and secure and have the embellishment of etched work, which enables the Bakelite handles to stand out even more. BE SURE TO SEE ALL PHOTOS.

The back of the knife carries the marking HULL STAINLESS, a well known vintage utensil manufacturer of the era. The stainless portion of each piece of this vintage carving set is bright and shiny and it appears as if this entire set has never been used.

The patina on each utensil is bright and shiny and the Bakelite handles test positive for Bakelite. In perfect condition, free of any damage whatsoever, this most useful carving set is ready for any gathering around your table!
