These two heavily embossed Christmas postcards are both from Series 259; one is marked A and the other B. There is no other publisher information. Both are copyrighted and one has the letters L. S. C. around the copyright symbol. The first card shows a boy hailing two children sledding in the snow. The caption at lower left reads "Merry Christmas." The card has bumped corners and some light soiling to the front along with some foxing to the reverse. The reverse has writing in black ink, but the card was never stamped or canceled.
The second card has two children bringing home a Christmas tree and packages. The caption at left reads "Joyous Christmas." There is some light foxing to the front and a stain on the reverse. There is writing in pencil on the reverse, but the card was never stamped or canceled.
