Sterling Souvenir Spoon Philadelphia Pennsylvania Bowl Engraved August 1914

Here is a small sterling souvenir spoon of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The front of the bowl depicts the liberty bell and reads, "Proclaim Liberty Throughout The Land." The handle reads "Philadelphia" and then shows William Penn, Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell. There is writing in Latin as well. On the back of the handle these buildings are depicted: City Hall, Penn House, Post Office, and Girard College. The back of the bowl is engraved, "Aug. 1914."

DIMENSIONS: The spoon is 4 inches long (10.3 cm), and the bowl is 7/8 inches wide (1.4 cm).

CONDITION: Very good to excellent. There is some patina and tarnish, but I do not see any pits or dents. There are some light use marks.

Item ID: 5589J
