Pottery Mixing Bowl with Rockingham Glaze

This is a wonderful pottery mixing bowl with the Rockingham glaze which contains yellows, tans and browns. The color of the glaze is often compared to the shell of a tortoise. This bowl has a lovely incised design of panels with a line of drapery folds above. Above these folds and below the rim are two concentric rings. This is really a beautiful bowl.

Dimensions: This bowl has an approximate diameter at the rim of 8 3/4 inches 22.5 cm and stands about 3 3/4 inches or 9.5 cm high.

Condition: The very bottom of the interior has the glaze worn off from use. There are numerous tiny flakes around the rim that have been worn off through use.
