This exceptional piece of the potter's art has a wonderful glaze. It's only decoration is an incised line about three inches below the rim and the number 2 incised between the handle and spout on the right side above the incised line. The handle has previously been repaired. There is also a glaze pit below and to the right of the handle. The pitcher stands about 13 1/8 inches tall and is about 7 1/2 inches wide. The mouth is about 6 inches in diameter. This would be a lovely addition to any room, especially one decorated in country or colonial style!
