Large Cash Family Pottery Buttermilk Pitcher
Here is a pitcher by Clinchfield Artware Pottery made by the Cash Family of Erwin, Tennessee. This shape is called a buttermilk pitcher. Although I was unable to name the pattern, a similar pattern in yellow is called "Yellow Roses with Accent." These flowers are a coppery brown with mossy colored leaves. The same coppery brown details the rim, base, and handle of the pieces; this detailing has a spongy textured look.

DIMENSIONS: The pitcher stands between 7 1/4 and 7 1/2 inches tall or 19.2 cm. The diameter from spout to handle is about 6 1/2 inches or 16.7 cm, and the diameter of the base is 6 1/4 inches or 15.8 cm.
CONDITION: Excellent with no chips or cracks. There is some crazing and some uneven or drippy glazing. Overall, the piece is lovely.
