Number 8 Turquoise is one of the most Valuable and Finest Turquoise Gems to come out of Nevada that can be collected. This mine produced some of the most enormous nuggets of Turquoise ever found, and produced more than 1,600 pounds of the very highest-grade turquoise, a discovery that is still being talked about today. The mine no longer produces Turquoise Gemstones.
This Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver American Indian Cuff is Outstanding in Beauty, Fine Quality Workmanship, Rarity and Highly Prized! The Colors are exquisitely blended ever so gradually with Soft Blue and Green Spider Webbing, and a Webbed Golden Brown Matrix (the Copper content). This Turquoise Gem has all the qualities of Number 8 but we wanted to have it absolutely confirmed. It was verified by experienced Native American Silversmiths in Arizona to be an Authentic Number 8 Turquoise Gemstone from the Number 8 Mine in Carlin, Eureka County, Nevada! We guarantee its authenticity.
The Vintage Native American Cuff hugs your wrist beautifully! The Turquoise Cabochon has a Triangular Shape with an Impressive size of 1-3/4" in length! The Turquoise is centered and framed with a Rope Border. The sides have Round Domes, Thick Braiding and Stampings. The Bangle gloriously tapers down to Rounded Scrolls at the ends.
This Cuff has received high praise from silversmiths for its construction and tailored fit. Not all Cuffs fit the same or look the same on the wrist! This Cuff is so comfortable and shaped for comfort! The inside circumference is 5-1/4" in length with the back gap opening at 1-1/4". My wrist is a technically 5-3/4" and it fits alright but would fit a larger wrist better from over 6" to 7" in size (depending on if you like it looser or tighter). The Cuff is sturdy and unbendable but a jeweler can slightly adjust the opening in back if needed.
The Vintage Native American Cuff is Hallmarked on the inside HAND MADE STERLING and tests for Sterling. There may be a signature under the patina but we do not want to disturb the piece. We say this because we have found signatures under the patina in the past which were easier to view without removing the desired appearance. This Cuff is from an Arizona Estate.
Complete measurements are 5-1/4" in length for the inside circumference. The Face which is the Turquoise with Rope Frame measures about 2" in length by 1-1/2" in width. The width of the shank starts at 1-1/8" in width and tapers down to 5/8" in back. From the top view, the opening measures across at 2-3/8". The Cuff Back makes it easy to slide on and easy to take off!
This Sterling Silver Navajo Native American Turquoise Jewelry is in Superb EXCELLENT Condition! It is WITHOUT any dents, cuts or chips to the Turquoise!
An Exceptional Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Cuff which is a Fine Example of Southwestern Native American Jewelry! Perfect as a Gift for a Birthday, a Holiday, an Anniversary or make up an Occasion!
