This Antique Victorian Jewelry Jeweled Hair Comb has a Wildly Romantic Gothic Appearance which is so Fascinating!
The Extremely Detailed Center consists of a Variety of Embossed Leaves, Vines and Flowers. The Intricate outter Wings are soldered to the Center and to the decorative pointed Stem. This Antique Victorian Hair Vanity Accessory appears to originally have a Gold Wash over Brass or Metal. It has such a Beautiful Rich Desired Old Patina that the base metal is now completely hidden. All parts are original to the piece with Faceted Glass Stones that have the same desired patina on the prongs as the rest of the Hair Comb. The Prongs are without bends to them too. All this confirms the stones are Original to the piece and have not been replaced.
The Faceted Paste Stones Still Sparkle Incredibly Bright with one showing only a whisper of age which is remarkable for it's years. Overall this Superb Antique Hair Accessory is in Excellent Condition for over a 100 Years Old Piece! Measurements are a Long 7-3/4" in length by 2-5/8" in width where the top part of the Jeweled Vanity Comb is arched back including the top points of both Wings.
