Engraved Rolled Gold Watch Fob Locket
Although this pretty piece likely started life as a fob on a watch, it would make the most lovely delicate ladies' locket. It dates to about 1910 and is in good condition. It appears to be rolled gold, which is a fairly thick layer of gold over base metal, but it is unmarked. There is wear to the plating at the top area, probably worn from however it was attached to a watch chain. The back side has a bit of buffing to the gold finish, but it is really more pronounced in the picture (so it can be easily seen by potential buyers), but is not terribly noticeable when seen live. The front has a pretty etched pattern and has engraved initials. If you wish, let us know and we can add a jump ring or gold tone bale so it can be easily attached to a chain.
